I need to measure the two vegetable gardens and the flower beds, and survey the rest of the yard to see where else I might like to put some plants.

I would like to have some shrubs, more lilacs and something else.  Hydrangea, burning bush, for example.  Look around and see what else will grow and do well here.  Spirea not so hot.  Cedars mostly died.  Maybe blueberries as a hedge.  Is soil acid enough? Get it tested.

Sweet corn:  In the old vegetable garden that is apparently too close to the walnuts.  What to plant in alternate years??
